Latch Hook Kid

In between getting things ready, I am now latch hooking. I picked up a kit from the thrift store and spend at least an hour a day latch hooking. It is easy once you get the basic 3 moves down:

1. Insert under 1 side of mesh square right to left in rows, bottom to top

2. Wrap yarn in half under hook near handle and pull both tips toward the latch

3. Pull toward you while latch closes in around yarn and back through yarn to complete a lark-like knot.

It's easier to see the latching then explain it in words.
